Looking at the results for each question i have came up with a specific target audience for our dancing documentary. The gender i will be aiming at will be mainly female, as the majority of people who answered my questionnaire were female. I will also be aiming it at 16-20 year olds as a lot of them were in the age group. As well as this the majority of people who took part in my questionnaire classed themselves as a dancer. Over half of the people decided that they would like to watch a dancing documentary, which is a good result. Only 5 people said that they do not like dancing/watching dancing, which overall is a good result. The questionnaire gave them a choice as to what dance they would prefer out of lively and calm. The results were split as there was 13 people that enjoyed lively and 12 people that enjoyed calm. From the results i found that only 4 people thought that the documentary would not be popular. 16 out of 25 people said that dancing was not a physical sport. 5 out of 7 people said they would not consider taking up dancing which isn't a problem as the documentary is going to be aimed at dancers so that it would relate to them. The BBC was the channel that got the most votes which is good as BBC show a lot of documentaries.
